A very Indian shopping

Commercial Street is THE place to go for shopping in Bangalore. It’s got everything, high-end gold and diamond jewelry stores, and little junk jewelry shacks. I like shopping for expensive jewelry, but I get such joy in picking up little inexpensive made in India pieces in little shacks.

The key to shopping in small shacks and stores is bargaining. I don’t know why I enjoy it so much. Maybe it’s the chase of the lowest price and the uncertainty that the seller might not agree to it. It’s the constant push and pull that adds to the magic of shopping.
