Colorful Junkanoo Shack
Junkanoo.
Just saying the word is fun, imagine how exciting it would be to be in the
streets of Nassau, Bahamas on December 26th shaking your bon-bon to
beating drums and musical whistles!
In 2013 I missed Junkanoo by a month. Ian, my People to People Ambassador, was very generous to take me to a Junkanoo shack. It was amazing to see the amount of work and time that goes into make such intricate costumes.
