Disco Taste buds

Paani poori is one of my favorite indian snacks. Its fried puffed up airy dough, filled with spicy sweet water. When you put one in your mouth, your taste buds do the disco!

Depending on which part of India you’re in, it’s known as puchkaa, gol guppa, or gup chup.

You can’t have paani poori just anywhere. If you’re in Bangalore, the best place to go is Kartik's Mithai Shoppe. Their first store is in Indiraganar. I remember battling traffic for two hours to have their paani poori, which takes about 15 minutes eat. Totally worth it!

Lucky for me, they’ve opened a store very close to my parents place. Yay! J
